Located in the one of the old neighborhoods of Waukesha, this lively community bar and restaurant is the place you have been looking for. JR's Tap on The Strand is known for their daily specials of Mexican food on the weekdays and Menudo on Sunday mornings. The kitchen is not open on Saturdays; however, many times you will find that we have a benefit, birthday party, or other celebration going on. JR's offers a great selection of beers, tequilas, and mixed cocktails, plus we are known for our large mug of Micheladas made with the beer of your choice. You will find Tejano music or your favorite songs on our jukebox. On many weekend evenings, we have a DJ for those that love to dance.
